| Tamperproof bits are used to add extra security to an assembly by using these unusual styles which make removal of security screws difficult if not impossible without matching security bits. |
| The Spanner, or snake eye, drive features a two-point drive system that cannot be gripped by the conventional drive styles. The Torx and Hex key drives in this selection now also feature a hole in the center to accommodate a pin placed in the center of their fastener counterpart. This pin keeps other drives and gripping devices from being able to grip them. |
