The ER70S-2 TIG Welding Rods are a micro-alloyed welding rod for GTAW (TIG) welding of unalloyed steels by using Argon shielding gas. Due to it’s Ti and Al micro-alloy contents, particularly suitable for single-pass welding of galvanized, pre-painted, rusty and dirty steels, welding low alloy steels in pipe-lines, boilers and tank construction. Suitable also for welding thin metal plates and repair welds.

| ER70S-2 TIG double de-oxidised welding rods are designed for welding of mild and high tensile steel or 490 N/mm2 grade steel. |
| The TIG filler wire ER70S-2 can produce quality welds with minimal porosity, is an excellent choice for welding over rust and mill scale. |
| S4 has all of the advantages of S2, with slightly higher levels of manganese and silicon. It has higher “cleaning” levels, and produces a more fluid weld puddle and flatter bead profile. |
