The UNIMIG 250K is an inverter-based multifunction MIG welding machine with added MMA and TIG functions. The MIG function allows you to weld with both Gas Shielded and Gasless wire applications. Easy stepless adjustment of voltage and wire feed make for easy setting of welding parameters giving excellent, professional welding results.
Wire inch gives easy feeding of the wire during set up without gas wastage and the Burn Back adjustment leaves the wire out ready for the next weld. An additional feature is the Spoolgun ready function that allows the simple connection of the PLSP240Amp Spoolgun for the use of thin or softer wires that don’t have the column strength to feed through standard MIG torches, such as an aluminium wire. Added MMA welding capability delivers easy and high-quality welding using electrodes, including cast Iron, stainless and low hydrogen. Connection of the 26V TIG torch provides quality DC TIG with Lift Arc start for welding of steel, stainless steel and copper.
The UNIMIG 250K is the ideal machine for light to medium industrial and panel work. The machine is single phase 240V and also portable and perfect for workshop use. The MIG function provides superb arc characteristics when using either Gas Shielded or Gasless Wires. The machine features an adjustable Burnback control and easy to use panel layout to get your job done faster.
The machine is also a very capable MMA (Stick) welder capable of running most MMA Electrodes up to 4.0mm. An added feature of Hot Start helps when striking an Arc to minimise the Electrode sticking to the workpiece.
With the machine being Spool Gun ready a UNIMIG Spool Gun is available if you want to run Aluminium wire without the changeover in the torch, liner and drive roller. The Spool Gun is an ideal way to use softer wires and not have to purchase larger spools of wire for small jobs.
The other option for running softer wires is via a Push Pull gun. The machine is capable of running a 6-metre Push Pull gun which is ideal for Aluminium work adding yet another feature to the capabilities of this machine.
The UNIMIG 250K is also a DC TIG welder with a Lift Arc function. DC TIG will allow welding of materials such as Mild and Stainless Steel as well as Bronze, Copper and Chrome Moly’s.
