CIGWELD BlueStrike 316L is a high quality, low carbon stainless steel filler rod for gas or TIG (GTAW) welding of molybdenum bearing stainless steels, in particular matching 316 and 316L alloys.
The molybdenum content gives improved pitting corrosion resistance, making it ideal for food and beverage, marine, chemical and architectural stainless work. It can also be used on 302, 304, 409, 444 and 3Cr12 steels.
