CIGWELD BlueStrike CastRepair (ENi-CI) is a basic, graphite coated electrode for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of cast iron components, such as engine blocks, pump housings, gearbox casings, machine bases and brackets.
It produces a soft, stable arc with minimal penetration and spatter, which reduces dilution and cracking in the cast base metal. It is very tolerant to contaminants often found in old castings, and the ductile nickel based weld deposit is readily machinable after welding.
