The DeWALT DCS389N-XJ 54V XR FLEXVOLT Brushless Reciprocating Saw delivers high-performance cordless cutting for demanding professional applications. Powered by a 54V XR FLEXVOLT brushless motor, it provides the power and cutting performance required for heavy demolition, construction and metal cutting while eliminating the need for a power cord.

With a 28.6mm stroke length and variable speed up to 3,000 strokes per minute, the DCS389N-XJ is built for fast cutting through timber, steel, cast pipe and other demanding materials. DeWALT states that the DCS389 provides up to 19% more power than the DCS388 when used with a 9Ah FLEXVOLT battery.

FLEXVOLT Technology

The XR FLEXVOLT system provides the power of a higher-voltage cordless platform while maintaining compatibility with the wider DeWALT XR battery ecosystem. FLEXVOLT batteries automatically change voltage depending on the tool being used, allowing compatible batteries to operate DeWALT 54V and 18V XR tools.

The DCS389 can deliver up to 19% more power than the previous DCS388 when paired with a 9Ah DCB547 FLEXVOLT battery.
