CIGWELD COMET High Flow Flashback Arrestor, Pipeline, Fuel

The CIGWELD COMET High Flow Flashback Arrestor (Pipeline, Fuel) is designed to prevent flashback flame and reverse flowing gases inside the regulator or blowpipe from burning or mixing in the hose and gas supply system. It is installed in the gas pipeline on the fuel gas (acetylene or LPG) line. Pipeline arrestors are installed in reticulated gas lines and manifold systems to protect the supply.

Flashback arrestors are essential safety devices on every oxy-fuel cutting, heating and brazing outfit, protecting the operator, hoses, regulators and cylinders.

Key Features

• High-flow capacity: suits heavy cutting, heating and multi-torch setups
• Flashback protection: guards against flashbacks, backfires and sustained backfires
• FA: stainless steel flame arrestor extinguishes any returning flame
• NV: non-return valve prevents reverse flow of gases
• TV: thermal valve shuts off gas flow if the arrestor overheats
