This non-destructive testing method reveals surface defects invisible to the naked eye, giving fabricators, welders, and QC teams a fast, reliable way to inspect finished welds and machined parts on the spot.
The kit includes all four cans needed for the full inspection process: Preclean, Penetrant, Remover, and Developer. Simply preclean the surface to remove grease, oil, or rust, apply the red Penetrant dye and allow it to dwell, wipe away the excess with the Remover, then apply a light coat of Developer. Any cracks or porosity will show up clearly within a few minutes, with finer flaws becoming visible on re-inspection after around 20 minutes.
Flawchek conforms to AS2062 Type 2 Method C as well as ASME and ASTM E165 standards, making it suitable for workshops that need documented, standards-compliant inspection results.
