Weldclass 15% silver phos copper brazing rod is made for plumbing and HVAC work. Thanks to its phosphorus content it joins copper to copper without flux, and joins copper to brass with flux. It is widely used on copper pipe, plumbing fittings and hot water tanks. The 15% silver content gives excellent gap filling where close fit-up does not exist, the highest joint ductility and strength in HVAC-R applications, and good performance on joints subject to thermal expansion and vibration.
Note: Not suitable for ferrous metals, steels or nickel alloys, or for use in sulphur containing atmospheres.
