The Jackson Contour Curv-O-Mark centering head is a time-saving pipefitter's tool for locating and marking centre points on pipe, or points at specific angles. It is most often used to find top dead centre or bottom dead centre, and also helps set centrelines, establish angles and marks for butt-ins, locate points inside pipes and tanks, lay out keyways and measure declivity. The No.6 standard model has a 100mm Y-type head for pipe 12mm and larger, a manually operated centering pin (use with a hammer) and an adjustable dial bubble protractor.
