Weldclass PLATINUM 943 is a high-performance hardfacing electrode for ground-engaging equipment. It deposits extremely hard, abrasion resistant chromium-niobium (CrNb) carbides, giving long wear life with both exceptional abrasion resistance and good impact strength. The nodular shape of the complex carbides lets it withstand heavier impact than standard chromium carbide electrodes, so it suits buckets, lips, screws, hammers, teeth and crushing equipment that see high sliding abrasion. Typical hardness is 60-65 HRC on the first layer. Supplied in a 1kg re-usable pack. This listing is 3.2mm.
Note: Not recommended for metal-to-metal wear. Use a 15-20mm stick out and avoid high current to prevent dilution.
