Weldclass PLATINUM 309MoL is a very versatile 309 series stainless steel electrode for strong, tough and corrosion resistant welds on dissimilar steel to stainless joints, matching 309 / 309L stainless, CrNi and CrNiMo stainless and hard-to-weld steels. Its 23% Cr / 12% Ni / 2.5% Mo weld metal has the alloy content and ferrite level to tolerate dilution without hot cracking, and the molybdenum makes it popular for welding clad steel and as a buffer layer.
